On May 6th Child’s Right to Thrive will host a book reading and discussion with Steve Reifenberg, author of Santiago's Children: What I Learned about Life at an Orphanage in Chile. The discussion will focus on experiences of volunteers who engage in direct care and advocacy work for disadvantaged children and the impact of their work on children, communities, and countries.
This Celebration of Santiago’s Children will also be an opportunity to celebrate the cultures of South and Central America. Come enjoy the ambiance, food, music and an inspiring literary memoir.
